The Centre’s approach to knowledge exchange focuses on three areas that encompass a wide range of projects and activities.

Creating the Conditions for Change

• Determine the credibility of the evidence for effective knowledge exchange in child and youth mental health.
• Identify known barriers to knowledge exchange and strategies to overcome them
• Connect with diverse stakeholders to understand knowledge exchange from their perspective

Informing Change

• Promote credible evidence in child and youth mental health services to ensure positive outcomes
• Link knowledge exchange processes to evidence assessment processes.
• Support exchanges across a range of subject matter areas to identify opportunities for innovations to produce solutions
• Support collaboration to improve or solve complex problems
• Evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge exchange activities

Building Cross-Sectoral Capacity to:

• Engage in knowledge exchange
• Address existing and emerging barriers
• Improve effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge exchange methods
