The Centre is pleased to announce the release of it 2008-09 annual report. Amplifying change highlights how the Centre has helped to build the knowledge, capacity and partnerships that support the best mental health and well-being for every child and youth in Ontario. Check it out here.
As part of our renewed focus on supporting mental health in the classroom, the Centre is proud to present Taking mental health to school: A policy-oriented paper on school-based mental health for Ontario. Prepared by Drs. Darcy Santor, Kathy Short and Bruce Ferguson, this paper discusses the who, what, why and how of school based mental health in an Ontario context. Both the paper and its companion report – Scanning the practice landscape in school-based mental health – are available for download here.
A new policy-ready paper has been added to our products page. Getting our acts together: Interagency collaborations in child and youth mental health was prepared by Dr. Katherine Boydell, Heather Bullock and Dr. Paula Goering of the Health Systems Research and Consulting Unit at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Check it out here.
Check out the Centre’s new online learning program in program evaluation. We have launched three online modules specific to separate phases of program evaluation – planning, doing, and using. They take users through the program evaluation process from beginning to end and include helpful information about program logic models, indicators and measures. They also help agencies and service providers develop evaluation programs that can be used to improve service and processes in a sustainable way.
