Overarching Conditions
-
As the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) funds the Centre, accepting Centre funding normally precludes receiving other MCYS funding for the same project / purpose.
-
In accordance with the Centre’s new mandate with the MCYS, our grants and awards “will focus (their) efforts primarily on capacity-building among MCYS-funded service providers” in the child and youth mental health sector.
-
All grant or award recipients must agree to have the outcomes of Centre-funded activities disseminated by our Knowledge Exchange Team.
Any publication arising from a funded proposal must acknowledge the support of the Centre.
-
The funding recipient must be an Ontario resident, and either be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant. If the recipient is an organization, the organization must be incorporated in Ontario and its mandate must demonstrate a clear Ontario focus.
Partnerships with others outside of the province of Ontario are encouraged but leadership (including shared leadership) must be from within Ontario.
-
The Centre has discontinued its research grants. The Centre will only continue to fund research projects through the Centre’s formal partnerships with existing peer-reviewed funding bodies.
